I stayed up late last night watching 2023 Apple WWDC. Maybe I was just too sleepy, but the iOS, iPadOS, and macOS updates at the start didn’t feel as hardcore as last year’s. To me, they seemed more focused on UI interactions. Plus, I hadn’t seen the M3 chip I’d been hoping for, so I fell asleep halfway through. When I woke up this morning, I found out they’d announced the Vision Pro headset. From what I’ve seen so far, it looks so cyberpunk. I’ll have to catch up after lunch today.

Yesterday’s hike was actually on our last day in Chengdu. It was seriously exhausting, but so worth it—it really changed my preconceived ideas about hiking.

Then it was time to rush to catch our flight and get back to work!。

To wrap up this short trip: it was packed with things to do, comfortable, and a really good experience overall. The only thing was that the food was way too spicy—I genuinely couldn’t handle it. Of course, I’d still absolutely recommend going.

After catching up on the event this afternoon, I feel like this year’s One more thing really does have something going for it. The panoramic experience looks genuinely amazing. I also watched some bloggers’ reviews, and from their descriptions, I could imagine just how excited they were while trying it out. Hopefully I can try it myself before the New Year.

Fingers crossed for the M3 to make its debut at the fall launch event.
